Nintendo Direct June 2026: All the Biggest Announcements and Trailers

Nintendo's June 2026 Direct was one of its biggest in years, headlined by a deep dive into the Switch 2 launch lineup and several surprise reveals that sent fans into a frenzy.

The showcase confirmed that the Nintendo Switch 2 will launch this September with a redesigned Joy-Con featuring hall-effect sensor joysticks to eliminate drift, a larger 8-inch LCD display, and full backwards compatibility with original Switch games and accessories. Major game announcements included a new 3D Mario title, Metroid Prime 4: Beyond gameplay footage, a Zelda: Wind Waker HD port for Switch 2, and a surprise Star Fox revival from the original Nintendo 64 development team.
