Rumor: Sony Drops PlayStation 6 Digital Edition to $399, Reveals PS VR 3 Controller

Sony has permanently reduced the PlayStation 6 Digital Edition to $399 — $100 cheaper than the disc version — and revealed the Project Haptics VR controller for PS VR 3.

75% of PS6 game sales are now digital. The Digital Edition has sold 30 million units, outselling the standard model 2:1 since launch. The Project Haptics VR controller features finger tracking, adaptive triggers, and pressure-sensitive grip. Blindfolded testers identified virtual objects with 94% accuracy.
